I'm having a problem with my Laptop, it keeps wanting to reboot. When its done rebooting I try to bring something up on my desk top and it will reboot again and again. Does any body know what I can try to stop it. Its driving me crazy.

could be a virus or something wrong with the hard drive.. if the computer keeps restarting itself..it is probably an issue with the hardware. I would try to contact your manufacturer of you computer. But run a virus scan if you can first to rule that out

Sounds like you got a virus of some kind. You probably want to get it checked out by the geek squad or an electronics store.

ahh! I HATE THAT! it used to happen to mine ALL THE TIME! i got soooo fuastrated, so i went to a local computer store w/ my laptop. And they fixed it for me! I was soo happy... i guess it was just a bug or something. Try it, you'll be soo relieved! Good Luck! DONT LISTEN TO THAT GUY DONT TAKE OUT THE BATTEREY! it will get messed up!!

take the battery out, unplug it and wait 30 seconds. This should refresh the BIOS. If you still have a problem, go into set up (usually F8, or shift-F2- should say on scree) from the boot up screen and see if settings are messed up.

other than than, makes a great paperweight or rifle target.

You may have a virus/trojan/back door problem. Boot up to safe mode, download AVG Antivirus, (it's free!) and run it.

I had that problem too with my laptop. I had to send to a repair shop for a part. They called it looping.

Install the system restore disc that came with it and do a repair on it. It will work fine after that.
