You liberals give me a great laugh whenever you suggest that we must "negotiate" with these demons overseas! What's wrong with old fashioned war? How did negotiations work out for Nevile Chamberlain with the Nazi's?

It's like Napoleon once said: "the price of victory is BLOOD."

Are you guys going to question NAPOLEONS record as a military leader?

Oimwoomio, EVERY conqueror was eventually defeated, so to call out Napoleon is like the pot calling the kettle black! NAPOLEON WAS A GREAT GENERAL FOR A LONG TIME

BTW, have you ever heard of the Louisiana Purchase?

Would you negotiate with a rattesnake in your back yard that may cause harm to your loved one? Of course not! You cut off the snakes head. These terroists are hellbent on ruthlessly murdering all of us and having us submit to their form of Islam. I think the only thing that they understand and respect is force and that we must take the fight to them and keep taking the fight to them. No you can't negotiate with them at all. The Iranian President for example does not believe that there was ever a Holacoust. How ridiculous is that? And he want to wipe Israel off the map. The terroists are demons plain and simple and must be defeated wherever they are and regardless of what terror organization they represent whether it be Al Quaida, Hammas, Hezbollah or whatever!

Some might question Napoleon's decision to invade Russia but that is besides the point. I agree that liberals are unrealistic in saying to negotiate with terrorists. One thing you must realize is today's warfare is a lot different from the warfare of WWII and especially the warfare of Napoleon's time. I just wanted to point this out. Besides that, you make a very good point that we should fight the enemy and not compromise our integrity.

Yes actually, Napoleon sent his troops into Russia in deep winter where 90% were killed off by the Russians and the cold and later he was caught and sent into exile where he died like a dog. If that is a good record then I don't know what a bad one is. And Vietnam is another bit of history for you. Go read the papers of the sixties and you will find the pages full of people sounding the same as you and in the end when it is all lost they slither back to whence they came.,

What's wrong with GOOD old fashioned war?
Your speaking peremptorily of course?
Or, are you talking about, "War for Oil"?
What about a proportional response? What do you have against a proportional response?
Are you part of the religious right?

Your question only generates more questions.

It's like the pirate, Long John Silver said, on more than one occasion, "Them that die will be the lucky ones".

Just be thankful sister that we are not all a bunch of French sissys. The French lost the flower of their manhood after WW2. This country has still got about 50% who can see the threat of an evil like Hitler. The Nazi's didn't have people willing to strap explosives to themselves. The rad muslims I saw on the history channel respect and learn from the Nazi party.

Because liberals have a large yellow stripe up their backs and are jealous of people with the courage to defend the rights that these same liberals are so quick to exercise.

It's easy for liberals to sit in the comfort of their own homes and negotiate. What's the worst that could happen? Break a finger nail or get a paper cut?

Terrorists are people who do not understand reason or reasonable people. They have a totally different mindset -- one in which they believe we must die if we do not support Islam. They think they are killing for God -- Allah -- whatever they call their God. It is a warped, twisted view of what God actually is. They only want to kill us -- no negotiating can ever change the way they think. The way Pres. Bush is handling it is the only way they can be stopped.

We should never negotiate with terrorists. I thought that was our policy and why in all that is right in this world would be want to change that. I don't mind diplomatic relations with sensible people, but the only way to negotiate with a terrorist is to get off the first shot.

You can't negotiate with people who's only goal is to kill you.

At the present time we, as a nation have a gun stuck in our
collective faces. Under those conditions we have only two
choices. Die or Kill the s.o.b.

Liberals can not wrap their brains around that concept.

I believe it is a problem of education.
