Let the battery die and it will reset

hold the center and play key for a few seconds and it should restart

No worries, my nano froze before

toggle the hold switch for about 6 seconds and then hold down the "menu" and select buttons at the same time for about six seconds. it should work. repeat the steps if it doesn't work.
