I just watched the Number 23,and I could go into a LONG LONG LONG review.But anyways,did the Myans really think that?If it is true,that will suck because I graduate on that year!!

The truth is the Mayans went only so far planning their calendar because they knew it could be finished later. After all, if YOU had to create a calendar, how many years would you go before stopping?

Yes and no. The Mayan calendar only goes until December 23, 2012, so one could infer that this is the end of the world, but it is more likely that they just didn't think the world would last that long.

Its the Mayan calendar and it was meant for the Mayans.

Think about it: Their world ended well before December 23, 2012. It doesn't necessarily translate to our civilization.

Although, the way things are going...
