What are symptoms of bad o2sensor and catalytic converter? Symptoms of each please. Got alot of bucking and cutting out. Nissan Sentra 4-cylinder.

well im not sure about the o2 senser but if u thing the cats bad i would just check it and see if the is a build up of carbon in it or around the joints it can also make ur car shack a little in the back if its bad

Go get your computer scanned with the OBDII scanner, any auto store will scan your car for free.
Cat converter will throw a P0420 code.... the converter will put out a bad smell if clogged. It will also restrict your exhaust flow down to almost nothing.
Oxygen sensor gone bad.... will throw a code from p0131 to p0175
when an O2 sensor goes bad you will get hesitation when accelerating and poor gas mileage.
Both of these will cause your check engine light to come on. Go get it scanned and fix it the right way.
