Libya's good if you're a purist. It's a green rectangle. The Saudi flag is good - it's green with Arabic text on it which is very elegant. Wales is good if you like celtic dragons. Or the old soviet flag - the hammer and sickle is a brilliant icon. I like the Bermudan trident too. Bhutan might be the most interesting - it's a pennant with oriental dragons on it. God knows there are lots of them.

I have a particular love for the Australian flag. The Union Jack and the stars on a blue background just is very striking and beautiful. I am an American, and while I love my flag dearly, it just doesn't have the same "pop" factor.
