i am learning both
just wondering which was is harder, i know they have nothing to with each other

you will find surprising similarities... both can be written poorly!

get me talking about regular expressions, they both support them!

javascript is a cleaner language, so write your bash as you would write your js, not the other way around!

Each have a lot of hidden power. I'd say JS is harder, just because there are more things involved. Bash has some odd constructs that can be complicated.

BASH is a simple scripting language. It doesn't have all of the neat things that JavaScript can do so I would say BASH is easier.
