I recently went to a performance where Indian girls were performing dances with modern style sounding Indian music. It was upbeat and energizing. I was told much of it comes from Bollywood films. Where can I find these songs and what are some of their names?

India has great music. And yes, much of it comes from Bollywood movies. You can look for the movies and then for their songs. I don't know exactly what you're looking for but search for movies like Dhoom 2, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Devdas(the best movie ever) and all Shahrukh Khan movies. Their music just rocks!

maybe is you download ares or limewire and write indian songs you'll find something
