in the winter, fogged windows will clear with heat.

in the summer if they fog due to moisture, also heat.

most fog up inside due to people running recycle vent over fresh air vent. in doing so you recycle your own body heat and moisture in turn fogging up the windows.

cracking a window can also solve the issue for it will suck out the interior moisture content.

You should use warm air, as cold air will only compounnd the issue
Just click on defrost and go. THe defrost actually uses the A/C to keep the moisture out of the air.

warm air.
car should have a switch for defroster,just switch it on
best solution of all move to a place where it never freezes.
then you will not have to worry about it.
i moved from New Hamshire to s,Cali just for that reason.
no more 4 letter cuss words for me like cold, snow, icey, rain
here you don't wash cars , you dust them.

Well, you should defrost it with warm air so it will melt!!

cold air doesnt melt ice or snow.. heat does
