Who are the 5 best NCAA players in the past 25 years?

I'm not really sure who my list would be. This is partly because I wasn't alive to see most of them and partly becuase there are so many.

If you want a lineup of college players who were great in college, not necessarily translate to the pros, here goes

The point guard would be Bobby Hurley of Duke, who I don't necessarily like, but some of your other choices like Isiah Thomas and Jason Kidd were better pros than in college.

The shooting guard would be Steve Alford of Indiana. Whule one would be tempted to take Jordan, even Jordan admits he was not the offensive player he became until he was in the pros a few years.

I would put Danny Manning of Kansas at the small forward even though he is 6' 10" again ahead of maybe a Kevin Durant or Grant Hill. Manning all but won the 1988 title by himself

Christain Lattener would be the strong forward. I can't stand Lattener, and yes that puts those two Duke guys on this team, but they were the only squad in this era to go back to back and were almost unbeatable

Patrick Ewing at Center. Only one of the great big men to win a title- Robinson, Duncan, and Olajwon won rings as pros. Also made three final fours at Georgetown and was simply dominant.

I would put Chris Paul, Rudy Gay, Jarret Jack, Emeka Okafor, and Chris Bosh on my team. These were players in the last 5 or so years. They are all very good.

Chris Bosh played one year at Georgia Tech
