Add another memory card, or replace the one you have. Go to Toshiba's set it get the specifics for your machine and then use that for ordering the memory from NewEgg or similar store.

Be very careful when doing the upgrade though- static electricity can destroy the new memory or other components within the computer.

If the video card uses its own RAM rather than system RAM, you can only increase memory by getting another video card. If it uses system RAM (most laptops do), You can change it in BIOS. When you turn on the computer hold down a key (usually F1 or delete) and the BIOS setup appears. Under a menu choice similar to "hardware settings" or "video settings", there should be a choice that allows you to change this. It might be labeled "video memory" or "AGP aperture". Change this and select "save settings and quit" on the main menu. Note that this will reduce the amount of system memory, so your computer may be slower when doing heavy tasks.

That would depend upon your video card. If it has onboard memory, then you would have to change to a card with more onboard memory.

If it borrows memory from the system, then you can allocate more of system memory by going into the BIOS, and change the allocation. Remember to make your video aperature size at least equal to this setting or highter,
