This problem has been going on for quite a while, and it's getting a bit old. Just about every time I go to print something off the internet, I get this message in a pop up window:

"An error has occured on the script on this page
Line: 93
Char: 1
Error: Access is denied.
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?"

Basically, I just click on the print option again and again until it works, and it always varies on how many times I have to do it. This happens whether I use the print icon, Ctrl + P, or go into the file section.

Also, my computer has been failing to restart itself unless I press the manual restart button on my CPU.

Is this due to a virus, a program deletion, or my older computer? Please help!

I use an hp Laserjet 1000 series btw, and this problem just began occuring randomly, quite a while after my printer had been up and running.

Try the system restore:
Go To:
start
programs
accessories
systems tools
system restore
This process is completely reversable. And does not remove your personal files. Just go back one checkpoint at a time until your puter is working good again.

Sounds like you have a corrupt driver. Go to start, control panel and then printers and other hardware, find your printer and right click it and delete it. Restart your computer and then plug the printer in via the USB cable, the computer will recognize the printer as new and will automatically download new drivers for it and your printer will work as good as new.

You have some kind of trojan or hijacker. Go to
www.trendmicro.com and do a free scan. That should identify and clean the infection. After that, make sure your print spooler service is set for automatic and started. Also check for a service called lexdev, and set it for automatic and start it as well.
