how do i become psychic?

Question

I'm so interested in life after death and would love to be able to communicate with the after life. It's a bit weird i know but where do i begin?I live in Australia

I don't mean to sound "silly" or "flaky".I know you can't just be psychic, I'm just really interested in the subject

We are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

I am of the belief that everyone has latent talent when they are born when it comes to being receptive to the other side. I read tarot and it took a long time before I was actually able to percieve the cards accurately at all. Try buying some literature about the subject of opening your mind to the spirit world, but don't be discouraged if things don't start coming to you right away, most clairvoyants either are born with the sight, or they hone their skills for years before they see results. You may never be able to be a medium or clairvoyant, but if you are safe about it, you can still have an active role in the spiritual world through visiting clairvoyants and mediums.

Psychic ability is something we all have despite those who say it just them. There are various ways to become awakend and or enlightened. Meditation is one. Working with a mentor/teacher is another. For some its time. For others its a sudden change of sorts, like and accident. for some people you already chose to close those avenues, maybe because you have dealt with it so much in a past life. But for a person that just decides one day its about tuning into high waves, so I would say most defiantely start with various meditaions that are geared to help you to open yourself. Then work on the ability by practice. It doesnt JUST happen, it is a process.

I'm not psychic, but I enjoy reading/watching/listening about it. I've heard that anybody can be psychic, you just have to have an open mind. We all can see things when we are little, and when we are old (except people think we are immature, or senial)....anyway, you need to really want it and be ready for anything. Read up on it, sorry I don't have specific websites/addresses in mind, but there are a lot out there. I've heard that Slyvia Brown is pretty good. She has a website and has written many books, you may want to google her.

I heard that everybody has SOME phsycic sensitivity. They usually occur in one of the chakras. Mine is my throat, & I hear that has to do with communication. I don't really think you become a phsycic by wanting to, it just happens. You could do some exercises on it though. Like...get with a friend and try to talepathicly guess what color eachother are thinking of. It just depends on if you have a natural knack for it or not!

Also...Mugwart tea is suppossed to be phsycically awakening!

Before you get too far along this road, think of this: Who was the last psychic to win a national lottery? Who was the last Psychic to predict a natural disaster, before it happened, many claim to afterward. Don't put a lot of faith in the afterlife. They are not going to reveal secrets to you.

If the gift is real, it is a gift - and many who receive it don't want it.

If you don't have it - sorry. It's gift, not a skill that can be developed. Those who have it can be taught more effective ways to use it - but there is no way to "teach" someone who does not already have the gift.
