It's because the market has shrunk for that type of gear. And the ascension of rival companies has been a factor.
When I used to ride my Banshee during the late 80's and early 90's, all I ever wore was No Fear stuff.
Your question brings to mind a story about my No Fear t-shirts and where I worked. After a 3 day weekend in the mountains around Tower City, PA, I told some co-workers about a spill I had on my Banshee because I was drunk. After that, anything that had No Fear symbols on it had a piece of masking tape over the word "Fear" with the word "Beer" written on the tape put on by my co-workers.
I even did it to my t-shirts when I had them on at work for a week or so.

Well, the 90s ended. When the new millenium hit, everyone who still liked NO FEAR stuff magically grew a mullet. Everyone was so concerned with the y2k problem in computers that this, sadly, did not get the attention it warrented.

They still have them in the "No Fear" stores. But it is slowly disappearing.
