I live in a brick house that has alot of black trelis work on the front. What kind of fence do you think would compliment the house. The roof is black with hints of grey and all the trim work is grey.

I'd go with a black wrought iron, or one of the black plastic type fences.

My neighbor lives in a house similar sounding to yours and just last year she had brick 'pillars' built (about 3 feet tall) and had wooden fense railing (two between each one) installed after the brick morter had set.

It looks neat, clean and is certainly different that everyone else in the neighborhood that basically has iron or white picket fences.

The above choice also is easily maintained - no painting, no cleaning - just sit back and enjoy.
