Every time I try to open any folders in Windows the screen freezes, the bottom bar disappears for a few seconds, then comes back. But the folder never opens. This has been happening ever since I allowed microsoft to give me Windows Updates. What is going on?????? How can I fix this?

-if that dont work try-

do a error check, it fixes most problems like your problem. to do this go to "my computer">right click on your "c drive" click on properties> a now tab will window and at the top of that window there will be 4 tabs one of the tabs will say "tools" click on that>than on that tab there will be bitten that says "check now"> another window will appear put a check in both check boxes and then push start> than it will ask you if you want to "schedule a error check" click yes> then restart you computer and it will perform a error chick .
and it will fix the problem!!

hope this helps!! -kb-
