Yeah, definitely. And like the other person said, it's not just African-Americans. That is to say, *stereotypes* still exist today. I don't know many people who associate "black" with "criminal". I do, however, know a lot of people who associate "black" with "marijuana". Then again, I know a lot of people who associate with marijuana, so I guess there's hypocrisy for ya. Most stereotypes I see and deal with are just kinda light-hearted in nature Just myself as an example; I have red hair, so I'm constantly getting joked about "Carrot Top", or "Ginger". Yeah, it gets a little repetetive, but it's not like there's any hate behind it. As far as I know, that's about the same extent any of my buddies experience stereotypes either; purely on a joking level. Not saying that excuses it. But it's definitely better than what the news leads us to believe.
