I accept as true with the bellybutton. Tattoos take a hell of a lot longer so that you're in soreness longer. The bellybutton is over in below a second. notwithstanding the bellybutton takes a lot longer to heal, as a lot as 8 months thoroughly. A tattoo will heal thoroughly in some weeks.

Yes they both hurt. Tattoos hurt more when you have them placed on bone or wherever there isn't alot of fatty tissue. Getting your belly button pierced is just a fast stick that does hurt but not unbearable. The healing time is longer on a piercing than a tattoo. Have both and lived. Good luck.

I have mine pierced, and surpisingly it wasn't painful. I got it done a/b 6 years ago. Just be prepared to be a little uncomfortable in the beginning, and make sure you clean it well. I never got an infection, but I know a few people who did. Dial is soap is highly recommended to use on a q-tip when you're cleaning the area. Make sure you turn the ring a couple of times a day to avoid it getting stiff. After a few months of wearing the loop you can change your ring. They have really cool fashionable rings everywhere. Good Luck!!

it msotly depends of pain tolerance. tattoos are said to hurt but really don't. it's like an annoying poking of a needle. twanging. belly button piercings hurt for about a second right when it's done, but then it's just like getting your ear done. it'll be sore for a few days but then pretty much of the annoyance would be gone.

yes! they both hurt. It depends on your pain tolerance as to how much. The Tat and the BB Pierce both take a while to heal. The piercing would be ok... If you change your mind you can always let it heal closed but with a Tat .... it's VERY painful to have it removed. THINK TWICE!!

I've never had either done, but yes, they both hurt. Tattoos are made by sticking needles into your skin, and piercings are just what the name implies- they pierce your skin. Ouch!
