We project on to others things we do not like about yourself. Maybe you are starting to like yourself more and in turn, now you are more comfortable with her.

Totally normal - hate is an attracting force, after all, you define your mental state based on your proximity to them. When you hate someone, they're in your head all the time and you feel really emotional about them. Not surprising therefore that this can eventually turn into love, and it's extremely common.

There's a fine line between love and hate, they say. It's also said that the things we dislike in someone else are the things we dislike about ourselves....so maybe you've always had an attraction for her, but subconsciously you turned it into negative feelings because of the similarities to yourself....

lol Nah I dont think it's something wrong with you, my mom told me like this....
When you can find a million (or ten) outrageous why you hate someone or shouldn't be someone...that's the one you should give a try, chances are, yall have a lot more in common than you think and you taking time out to realize why they aren't for you or why you hate them shows that you gave extra time to think about him/her...Think about it, makes sense doesn't it! I say proceed with caution, talk to her, get to know her, hang out with her, but DONT bring up the past, it'll just make you guys second guess the relationship!

It's normal...sometimes we assume that we don't like a person because he/she seems to be the extreme opposite of the type of personality we are looking for but actually the very first time you gave an eye to him/her, you liked that person already. You just can't accept to yourself that he/she's the one because he/she does not match the ideal woman or a man you've been trying to find...lessen your pride and you'll agree with me...

No, I think she got to know you more and you got to know her. Sometimes the reason people think they and someone hate each other is because they just didn't come off to each other correctly. I've been in the same boat with guys I didn't like and even people who are now my friends.

pretty common. (1) hate can mask other feelings and (2) sometimes your gut just remembers someone made you feel strongly, but not what it was, so if another feeling comes along, you transfer the strength to it...

Nope. This is not unusual.
Give the relationship time to progress. You could be in for something good here.
