Will there be a NBA franchise coming to Canada?

Question

What do you think, will we get bak the Vancouver Grizzlies, or maybe an expansion team? I'm hoping!

We already have the Raptors but do you think the Vancouver Grizzlies will come back or that will get an expansion team?

Note - 1. A Canadian invented basketball, so don't go around saying it only belongs in the U.S.

2. I heard that the Grizzlies had better attendance in Vancouver then they do now in Memphis, the only reason they moved was because of bad ownership and the fact the owner didn't want to stay there!

3. HOW ARE WE DAMN COPYCATS WHEN WE INVENTED THE DAMN SPORT!!! Copycat Copycat Copycat huh ur the one thats a damn copycat if anyone!

4. I'm sick of this don't be like "NO CAUSE IT ONLY BELONGS IN AMERICA" present me with some damn information why or why not!

I can appreciate your enthusiam for another Canadian NBA team, but unfortunately, I would say no to the question on two points, One, there just aren't enough basketball fans in Canada. The Vancouver expereince may have little to do with attendance, but for whatever reason it failed and I don't think the NBA was too disappointed, nor were the Vancoverian who used their free time to get the 2010 winter Olympics, a much greater prize

Second, the NHL I am sure would love to have another team in Canada, but the exchange rates and higher taxes have been brutal. In the last twenty years the Winnepeg Jets and Quebec Nordiques had to go. Although the Ottawa Senators have been a pleasant surpirse, I just don't think major American sports can cut it too much in Canada.

Vancouver Grizzlies weren't a good team that is why they moved to Memphis and now are the Memphis Grizzlies. I don't think there will be any more Canadian teams in the NBA. We still do have the Toronto Raptors but that is the only Canadian team in the NBA.

canada already has toronto. vancouver used to have the grizzlies which didnt do to good but there are talks about a team in montreal or quebec
