Is it just me, or is that one of the dumbest Qs a person could ask?
I mean, other than forcibly redistributing wealth, what CAN be done? Tell them to get a job?

The difference between the rich and the poor grows larger and larger all the time. I am not rich and not poor but I work, I know parents that both work and still have a hell of a time making ends meet. I understand your question and being a very non-political person myself I don't have the answer. I do think that the goverment could do a lot more to assist the poor w/jobs and job training. Instead we give billions to other countries that never pay it back, okay I am done.

Your question is just selfish, someone wants to lend a helping hand & your putting them down for this. If only more people were like this person the world could be a better place.

well there could be other ways of ending poverty other than distributing money. i dn't know what YET but i will soon!!!! hahaha. i've been turned into an evil banana!!

ok one person cant end poverty, you are right, but that dont make it a dumb question when there is one soul on this earth that cares for others.
