I really hate them. I mean a question was asked, why do people have to give them. Especially when I ask one there is load of them to the people who answer my questions. I don't give them to anyone. I guess I can't understand why people have to do that to other people's questions. GRRR!!!! sorry

I don't like them either, especially when used towards a very simple opinion. I mean you,re going to ask do you prefer coffee or tea, and you answer say, coffee, and then someone who likes tea better will give you a thumbs down. What the hell?

You have some people on here who go through random questions and just do it for no reason at all.
Case in point: I've seen questions wherein the only people who answered weren't even eligible to vote and yet they had 3 thumbs down each.
You also have some people that are just not that fond of each others opinions.
With that being the case I really just ignore it. It's all you can do.
