Statistically each time someone marries after being divorced the subsequent marriages have a less percentage of succeeding. For example the 2nd marriage has a 60% chance of success, the 3rd marriage has a lower chance than that, etc....

Hello,
I have no idea about how to answer this query, but I will tell you this, I am a happily Married man and enjoyed 42 years of marriage to a lady I am still madly in love with, I have retired from work early I am 62, and loving my retirement, so my wife and I can do things we seldom did in our younger years. So it is fairly safe to say that we got it right first time, and all that wedding day stuff is still quite fresh in my mind, and I was so very nervous it's safe to say that neither of us would want to go through that again.
I have heard it said that 3 is a lucky number for some people and that 7 is another lucky number too, as maybe is 13 for others but you are not going to go that far are you?, No of course you're not.Maybe you really should be asking yourself a few questions about what went wrong with hubby No1 and himself No2... and when you are happy with your answers, you will be in a better position to be able to say "I do" and mean it this time, because if you do sort out whatever problems you had before, then saying "I do" is going to mean a whole lot more than saying "I might"... Good luck anyway, and many congratulations on your impending wedding day, may I kiss the Bride please, ok thankyou,~~~~~~X~~~~~~ Tony M

Well, it is supposed to be true about the 3rd time marriage is lucky. But truthfully, its only a myth, the only way it can be lucky is if you Make it be lucky. Depending on who you choose for the rest of your life ((or if you get divorced ... again)) is on your descision. Its really how much wisedom you have gained through the last 2 marriages. If you try to make it work, and you believe it can be a really good marriage, then maybe it is lucky!

Not necessarily. My third marriage is ending in annulment because of his illegal activities I didn't know about prior to the marriage. But then again, if an annulment is allowed, then the next time I get married WILL be the third time.

my wifes mum is now in her 3rd marriage and she couldnt be happier, her new husband has put her faith in men again and its great to see. with her first 2 husbands she was abused by them physically and this caused her severe emotional damage, it also affected her 4 kids but in particularly my wife who herself is 21 and expecting our 3rd baby ( he was due on 22nd feb) I am sorry what has happned to your previous husbands but I am sure that they would like you to 'love' again. I say go for it, if its what you want then do it, dont let people bring you down. GOOD LUCK

For me in my life with my husband it sure is:) This is the best marriage i have ever had and it is for life. This all depends however. Not all third time marriages are successful at times.

Each time you divorce, your luck runs out more and more.

If he had four divorces, forget about this guy !
