How do I kindly (I've tried everything) tell a cousin (girl) to shut up. All she does is talk, debate, compare and argue just about anything. I have limited my relationship with her to only family functions and seldom answer her calls. She told me that she seeked help from her Dr. to get pregnant, only after our other cousin got pregnant. Children are a couple of months apart. She calls me to tell me anything negative about anything to do with me. Like the place I got married at is closing. I told her so what? that was 10 yrs ago that i got married there. I have children to take care of. My husband says that she sees me happy, new house, new car, 3 kids, i dont work, that she is propably lacking something in her relationship that she feels the need to compare with me. What do you think? For the record, whatever My husband & I do - I dont tell my family at all. We bought a new car early this yr and I didnt tell anyone until they saw me at a shower. My personal life is hushhush

I think your husband is right she wants to be happy like you. and want to do the same things that you did. talk to her and tell her she can be happy if she just be herself and tries not to copy what others do. good luck.
