What a great question.

It depends I guess, on when. If you were to find out it was going to be in a weeks time, then I would like to know to make the most of what I have left. Whether I would tell anyone else, I'm not sure.

If I was to die when I was 89, it wouldn't bother me to know, because either way, I would have a long, fulfilling life.

Knowing how could be hard, as everyone wants to die in their sleep, nice and pain free. If you found out you were to die in a fire, or drown, you would probably be terrified of water/fire for the rest of your life (depending of couse, on how long that will be).

I would prefer to know when, rather than how.

Yes so I can remember and avoid the situation but if it's old age I can live in peace for the rest of my life knowing I'll die when i'm supposed to and not when I'm 21 getting shot 5 times in which case I'll live till then in fear

No. Death is so final. Why look 4ward to it if you don't have to? Try asking a terminally ill cancer patient this question and see what they say. I'm sure anticipating death is not on the list of goals of the average person.

Plus, if you try to cheat death and you do, you never know how you have changed the fate of some1 else. Someone else may die and you may regret it. If the Grim Reaper came for u, would you sacrifice your child? I think not.

No! Because then I would stop living and only think about the time I was going to die.

Yes, because if you knew, you could do anything without the fear of dying. If you knew you were gonna die of a heart attack at 58, you could jump off a building, or any other dangerous activity and live. You would literally be invincible.

No, I wouldn't. I would be happy if it were far away but then I might do a bunch of reckless things like swimming with sharks and stuff. And, if it were in a few days, I would go through so much stuff trying to stop it and it would be torture.

There's a reason we don't know that stuff.

If it were up to me, I would like to go in my sleep. No suffering
of any kind or of an illness any way. My Great Aunt passed away
like that several years ago. She had a headache & wasn't feeling
to good one day so she layed down to go to sleep & she just past
away in the middle of the night. But I do know that when my time
comes, I'll be up in heaven with my JESUS! My SAVIOR! Read
John 3:16 in the BIBLE!

No, in the words of "The Dance"..

"And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance"

I wold want to know if I get my true love before I die, and if I get to die the way I want. In the line of fire, defending my country, or maybe defending someone I love

Yes absolutely !! That way I could make sure everything is taken care of beforehand. There is so much to consider and I don't want to burden my family with everything, so yes I would definitely want to know.
