god didnt make jesus nail himself...he was given a choice....jesus died on the cross for us,in simpler terms, think of it as a sign of LOVE......jesus did something so great letting people taking his life away because he loves us more then anything you will ever meet......and he's the only one who will never stop loving us!jesus always knew that day would come his whole life.once he did die he reached his divine eternal life in heaven, and he new that too.....everyone has a purpose on earth EVERYONE and that was his!he was the chosen one!and you also asked how do we know he's the son of god? simple,he did and knew things no one on this earth could or would do! he knew things about his father like no other, he had the holy spirit with him ! i hope that answers your question and if it doesnt, well, all i can say is have some FAITH and go to church or something!

Well I am on of Jehovah's Witnesses and we believe that he nailed to stake not a cross and the reason his father let that happen is so as humans we could have a chance to live forever without sickness or pain and god did not make his son do that he son did it because he loved all mankind

As Christians we believe that Jesus, the son of God, is God in the Flesh. He humbled himself and became man so that he could die on the cross to forgive the sins of humanity. Your sins and mine. Why did he have to die?
The Bible says that with out the sheading of Blood, there can be no remission of sins. Imagine that, the God of the very universe came down to take your place. He came to forgive you of your sins. All we have to is accept the free gift of Grace.
YOUR SECOND QUESTION: ( no, I'm trying to get ur attention, I'm not yelling :-) )
Like I said, in order for sins to be forgiven, bood had to be shed (Hebrews Chapter 9 verse 22) . In the old testament, the blood shed was by animal sacrifices. But these sacrifices were only done yearly in the Jewish temple and they could only be done by the priest. That means the priest went in to the temple and offered a sacrifice and that way the people's sins could be forgiven....But obviously yearly sacrifices are not much good. As humans we sin all the time as we can never live up to Gods laws and standards. So, God came down in the form of a man to make the ultimate sacrifice. He died on the cross so that you and I could have direct access to him. Now, the price has already been paid ( the death on the cross). We have direct access to God, and all we have to do is ask for forgiveness.
You bring up a very good question in regard to sin and forgiveness. In the Book of Romans Paul brings up the same question and then answers it for all of Us. here I'll let you read it...
Romans Chapter 6 verse 15- 18
15. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid
16. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you
18. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness
and verse 23
For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
As you can see, Christians are not able to sin and just ask for forgiveness. Any person who is claims to be a Christian but continually sins the same sin knowng that its wrong (but thinking that God will just forgive him anyway) is really not a Christian at all. Paul says in Romans Chapter 6 verse 16 that you are a servent of what you choose to obey. That means if you allow sin to control your life you are a servent of sin, but if u try not to give in to the lust of your flesh (with the help of God of course because we cant do it alone), then you are a servent of rightousness and an child of God.
Of course dont get me wrong, the bible says that we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. thats why we need a savior (Jesus Christ). But to continue in sin knowing its wrong, is not acceptable in God's eyes.
That brings us to the point of salvation:
Romans Chapter 5 verse 8 says that Rom 5:8
God showed his love for us by dying on the cross for our sins while we yet sinners. In order for us to have salvation all we need to do is confess or sins, accept the free gift of salvation and follow Christ.
