No, but I certainly recommend professional training.

No you don't need a license to own or use a welding machine. Take a class or something. My husband welds and you can get burned pretty bad.

No but if your going to buy one and not get professional training then simply buy a cheap little welder from a place like lowes or something a do little **** like that.
