It depends on how good the team. Remember almost all of those great North Carolina players on the 2005 team were first round draft picks, but that may be the exception rather than the rule. I think a decent, but not quite great player, would do better at a lesser school. Obviously, I think education should be a factor as well.

Go to Duke or North Carolina. If you want to go on and have a career in basketball, then you want to be able to stand out amoungest the best of the best. If you standout at Marshall and then get schooled in the first round of the tourny, then what did ya accomplish?

All depends. Some would say Duke or N Car because of there development of players and the fact that in more than on year they have had multiple players go pro. I personally think that with the overwhelming parity today in college ball that a marquee player would be best served in a smaller program where he( or she) can become the leader that they will most assuredly become when they go pro.

Firstly go close to home if possible. if they are that good and play nba they only got a short time left with there family. it would be better to go to a top college. if they are put in an environment where they are not the best it will force them to be better, to get more court time. this will not only make them a better player it will help with the transition to nba.
