Yes, it releases endorphins, and has an effect on serotonin levels. As far as a cockroach goes, it would be irrelevant.

yes, to both questions. the chocolate produces happy chemicals in the brain, kind of like the ones u get during sex (good sex, that is !). and cockroaches are supposed to be one of the few creatures on the planet that could withstand a nuclear blast, although i don't suppose they'd survive if the world was totally blown to bits !

Choclate releases the endorphins in the brain that is what gives you the feel good factor, it is also likened to the same feelings you get from sex...oh yeah those cockroaches are some bad as$ little bliters to exterminate.

They can also survive 9 days without a head. The only reason they die is because they cannot eat.
