my 2 best friends were a guy and a girl and we tried to dig through the sandbox and get to australia.

My best friend was called Lynne and she emigrated to Canada when I was about 10. I really missed her. She married and had two children but sadly she died at a young age (brain tumour). Her dad used to work for John Menzies (office I think) and he used to bring home loads of comics (hundreds of copies) and we would play with all the free gifts from them. My best friend now is Moira and she has four children who are brilliant and her husband Gary is very nice too.

I went to 9 or 10 schools so too many best friends to say. We played jump rope, handball, knucklebones, yo yo, hopscotch, hide and seek, statues, run bull run...etc ah, the days before computer games and mobile phones!

I had a guy friend and like three best girl friends (none of which keep in contact with each other now though : ( ). We always played puppy dogs and post office . . . those were the days. :D

My best friends were my various cats that came and went during my childhood.
One cat named Suz used to play tag - literally. We would take turns chasing each other in the back yard, and we caught birds together. It was great.

Lets see Nicole was my friend. and we used to play Harry Potter role modeling!!! (i know, embarassing, but hey! EVERYONE had to do atleast somethin' like that when we were younger!?!?
