Thanks for 2 good answers already - I'm concerned that they'll shoot me down right away since I have a B.A. and not a B.S. degree; but I have close to 20 years business world experience.

Why the heck not? People do it all the time. Just do what pays your bills and something you enjoy or at least don't hate.
