Depending on where you want to get rid of unwanted hair (upperlip, eyebrows, legs, etc.), there are several options.
For your eyebrows, i think a great option is threading. It basically involves someone taking a spool of thread and removing hair on your eyebrows. It's not really that painful and it keeps away stray hair in that area for approx. 2-4 weeks (depending on how fast your hair grows). Waxing is also good too--but just beware! Some salons may use hot wax, which can rip away some skin or even burn you---so i suggest threading as a serious option.
With waxing, usually you can do it yourself thereby making the procedure cheaper and you can do it anytime you suspect any sparse growth coming back. I suggest a few waxes--if you're very sensitive, Nad's is good. It's a sugary wax that washes away with water. Another one is these cold wax strips that Sally Hansen makes--they are a little more painful than other ones...but they are really effective.
Hope this helps! Don't worry--you're not the only one with unwanted hair out there! :)
