We all do. Our past and future is shaped by the decisions and the behaviors of all of us. The way I choose to live my life and the goals I set affect me, people around me, and the world in a small way but what I do does affect others and other people affect others and it is a triple down effect.

Look at the 60's, that movement was shaped by a huge group of people. The feminist movement has helped for women's rights over the years. So I feel we all do, we all can shape our culture and we can do it better if we ban together and support one another.

Look back at the Civil Rights movement and how people banned together to fight for rights. understand the extent Americans went to to stop the spread of Communism. To understand the lifesyle of the counterculture movement of the 60's and to understand it's impact on young people in the 1960's and beyond
Look at Japan, it has been shaped by our Western Ideas and ways of life.
