Cannot impeach a President who has committed no impeachable offenses, so an action like that would make the USA a laughingstock. The liberals would like that.

They should leave President George W. Bush is office and besides, the Atlanta Hawks will win the NBA Championship before George W. Bush is Impeached and since the Hawks are not going to win the NBA Championship anytime soon, Bush will not impeached anytime soon either.

BAD! The entire government would be tied up for the rest of his term. No chance for ANYTHING to get done. Plus by the time he actually was impeached his term would be long over. And he would still stay in office. Remember Clinton. And Cheney would take over if he were to be kicked out of office so nothing would change. No benifits to this at ALL!

It would be a waste of time and money, just like the Clinton impeachment. Nothing good can result from this so it would be bad for our country both in the short term and in the long run.

If you want Bush impeached he'll have to cheat on his wife. That's the only way Bush willl get impeached.

I think impeachment, while our nation is at war, is hideously stupid. I also think a dragnet into 9-11 will net many fish on both sides of the aisle, or none.
Long-term? It will take more than 2 years to do it. And I really think our nation needs to not start impeaching every president.
So, IF the President HAS committed crimes, there are very long statutory limitations on felonies. And after he is out of office, feel free. But right now, put our nation first.

I think it would send a clear message to the world about what is at the heart of America's vision for the future, relative to the rest of the planet.
And would that be worth the negative fallout that accompanies the impeachment of a President? Especially in light of national, international conditions and recent history?
I think so, yes.

Your long hair is pulling on your brain! How many times does it have to be explained he hasn't done anything to get impeached for or they would have done it! Next, why with one more year to go would you put in the expense of a trial that would go on forever and cost the countrys thousands of dollars?? And, you would get Vice President Cheney as President and I could go on. You need to refocus and use your brain power for the good of the country!

Just because you do not like the President doesn't mean, in the long run, that he has been "bad" for this country. Only history can judge this!

Blah, blah, blah.... When you can enumerate impeachable offenses then try your Bush bashing question again.
Impeachable offenses...lying to Congress....oh wait. That was Bill.
