Hey, look you've got all of us to keep you company. You'll be home in no time and you will wonder why it couldn't have lasted longer! (OK I know, that's a little bit optimistic.)

We got about 8" of snow and 3" of slush under it. No fun to shovel that stuff. But we still have our electricity. Now it's raining/snowing. Man, I miss our January spell of global warming, don't you?

Oh wow, I DO feel for you! however i am glad that yo uhave somewhere to go where you are safe!!! I think this is a VERY valid question... I am in Ohio and I know about power outages!!! You will be fine, and I am glad youhave y!A here for at least some of the time.....it must be VERY hard for yu and I really send my best to you! There is nothing worse than being displaced!!! I know as aside from power being out, I had my house burn down and EVERYTHING had to be replaced. But for now you are safe and that is what counts though i know y umight feel to be going a bit batty! take care and know my thoughts are with you!
Thanks,
Lioncourt

That reminds me of the Blizzard of 1993. We only lost it for 2 days thank God but lots of people's were out for weeks. That's one reason I'm glad that I live in Alabama. I have a son that is 5 and never seen snow except for a few flurries.

Yes, but look at it this way at least you had a place to go, while some others might not be able to.

Been there done that. We had to stay at home though and it was like 10 below outside. Thank goodness we had a fireplace. Still froze to death though.
