On a cellular level, mammals are pretty similar. So elephants have a lot of the same kinds of cells that humans do:

muscle fibers
neurons (nerve cells)
erythrocytes (red blood cells)
leukocytes (white blood cells)
epithelial cells (skin cells)
osteocytes (bone cells)
chondrocytes (cartilage cells)
pneumocytes (lung cells)
adipose tissue cells (fat cells)
oocytes (egg cells)
spermatazoa (sperm cells)
lots & lots of secreting cells

This is by no means a complete list! But the cell types above are a general catalog of the types of cells found in just about all mammals.
