Two computers on Wireless Home Hub?

Question

I am running 2 comps on wireless hub! My problem is when i'm on my laptop and my daughter logs on her comp it signs me out!
Can anyone help? I'm new to computers so please try and make it simple!!!!

Make sure that neither yours nor your duaghter's computer are actually starting up internet connection software.

For example, SBC often distributes instructions to load their software on your computer and use it to "start up" the internet connection. If you have a router, the router does this and you don't need to install the software.

So, if you have installed "start up" software from your ISP, do the following:
1) Remove the start up software from your machine(s)
2) Follow the router's instruction for setting up the WAN connection (This should be just entering the userid, password, and connection type. Then make sure the router says to keep the connection available and auto-reconnect.)
3) Then try connecting from each machine.
