The only way I have found of eliminating resentment is to try to understand why someone did what they did from THEIR perspective. Although it may still totally out of order to you, we are all different and think in different ways. Once you get some understanding you can begin to let go.

Resentment can be caused by someone having something more than another person has.Say it is money, well if all the people in the world had the same amount of money say £1 each there would be no need for resentment. However If only one person has £2 they have had to have tread on someones toes to get it, which means someone is doing without. RICH versus POOR RESENTMENT.This planet we live on is a truly beautiful place it is society it's self that has caused the problems. It is too late in to days society for resentment to be eliminated. Maybe if a new world would begin with Honesty,Love,Trust, kindness Truth fullness, consideration of each other and we helped each other Globally. I can dream can't I or maybe there is someone out there who can not dream and resents this.

Few people can accept things as they are and move on. Case in point. Some young man just keeps emailing me after I answered his question. I presented my answer as well as enough information so that he could see that he had been misinformed. Still he refuses to let go. He resents being misinformed, even though it is not in any way a reflection upon him. It is the entity that gave him the wrong information that should be the brunt of his resentment! My point is that resentment can be eliminated, but only you can eliminate your resentment. Likewise, only I can eliminate mine! Have a good evening.

Through forgiveness. This can be very difficult to achieve sometimes depending on the level of resentment. One must reach inside and ask themselves whether the resentment is truly worth it. Most cases, it's not. Let go of whatever is the cause of resentment, try to forgive and move on. chances are that the person you are resenting has no clue and they are living a happy life.

Good Luck

To be honest, only prayer can get rid of this feeling. I'm in the middle of this prayer process right now. I finally started, in a nice way, voicing it to the person I was resentful towards. It has helped somewhat but it is a long process. I'm hoping it makes me stronger in the end because that seems to be the only thing to look forward to at this point.

When you reach the pinnacle of your "being a human being."

Resentment is a transformed type of all these evil things such as hatred, jealousy, greed, discontentment and so on.

They are all innate component of human beings. We are all born with these things. As you know a little child is selfish and wants to have everything at his or her own way.
However, when one gets older, one can be more thoughtful to others. And it is precisely here that the possibility of
"forgiveness" can emerge.

Usually, a person can be more thoughtful and lenient to everything as he or she knows and experienced many highs and lows in his or her life.

I sometimes think that the very original form of human being is this thoughtfulness to others. After all, one can not live alone in this world, and one should be aware of the fact that there are many others who are not like you.

I always think about the person I resent. If they've given me good reason to resent them maybe they have a lot of problems that I don't know about. if there's no reason to resent them, then I must be the one with the problem.

DEATH.. i don't mean this literally like i dont advocate killing someone. i mean this in the best possible way as in 'your death...' Would you still give a **** if you thought you only had a week to live. Would you spend your time hating and resenting the person.. I think not. I always think im gonna die and yes of course i know we all are. what i do when things are going bad i think well i could be dead already so fuc this **** im gonna have fun...Forgive - ignore and live....
