I think what you want is for an unrearranged substring in a word to have something to do with the entirety of the word, without actually being a stem of the word, as would be the case for "en(live)n" or "un(certain)ty".
Here are a few I've come up with:
|--: en(able)d
|--: tot(all)ed
|--: cr(@ss)
|--: S(cat)!
|--: t(error)ism
|--: d(evil)
|--: (flaming)o
|--: snakec(harm)ing
|--: s(lightly)
|--: v(owe)d
|--: en(rapt)ured
|--: ing(rat)itude
|--: per(son)
|--: accoun(table)
|--: pen(time)nto, sen(time)ntal
|--: ad(venture)
|--: bla(zing)
When the front panel of your corset is much too tight, it's a ...
|--: stom(ache)r
You wanted the jury to see some evidence, but misjudged; it's ...
|--: inad(miss)ible
A chowder made with week-old seafood ...
|--: bou(ill)abaisse
Junkmail "free gifts" ("This is our way of thanking you!") are ...
|--: com(merci)alism
