I need to delete something from my favourites list, but everytime I click on it to delete it the computer jams up! That's the reason I want to delete it...'cos if I accidentally hovver over it, computer jams. Is there any other way of deleting this from my favourites?

1. Click RH mouse over the start button.
2. Select 'Explore'.
3. On left side of screen find your 'favourites' in the desktop list. You might have more than one 'favourites' list so click arround and find the correct list of favourites'.Now click it with LH mouse.
4. Favourites opens into the main screen. On main screen use LH mouse to highlight the favourite which you want to delete. When highlighted press the delete key and it will be dumped into the recycle bin.
5. Some favourites might be inside yellow envelopes.Click on the envelopes with LH mouse to open the files. LH mouse to highlight the favourite you want to delete and press the delete key.
NB ... any error can be reversed by opening the recycle bin and then select to restore the favourite.
Empty the recycle bin before you switch off. Restart the computer.

If your running XP try this:
right click on the taskbar at the bottom, then go properties
click the start menu tab at the top
then click customise button on that page
click advance on the new window that pops up
enable favorites
keep clicking ok until all the bozes are gone
go start menu and point to favourites, try delete it that way?
if that doesnt work, click start and right click on the favourite button, click open, will open a window, try delete it that way

If using Internet Explorer, click Favorites from the menubar and then select Organize Favorites. From there, you should be able to click on the one you want to delete and press the delete button.

Yes - Open "My Computer", and double-click on the C:\ drive.
Then double-click "Documents and Settings". Find your username and double-click that.
In there you will see the actual "Favorites" folder that houses the favorites. You should be able to select it and delete it there.

thats crazy hmm there are programs out there that can erase your history and cache but i don't know about favs. try going into your c/ explorer or w/e kind of browser you use and going to the favorites folder and deleting it from there?

when you go to your internet explorer or whatever you have, click on favorites and then go to what you want to delete, right click and click delete and it should work..good luck!

I cant think of anything that will do it but maybe you could search around for a program that will let you edit your favorites outside of the browser.

if none of the suggestions help then i would set up a new user account in control panel then user accounts and create a new one, and Del your other user,

This is a big big problem when you have down loaded lot and lots of porn,and have it saved on your favourites as you have done.If you do find out how to get rid of it please can you let me know.As I have this same problem.Thanks
