can you modify a template site for oscommerce?

if i buy a template either for zen-cart or oscommerce,can I modify it?(i.e.logo,colour scheme ..)
i know html and can use dreamweaver

SURE!!!

when buying it be sure that it includes PSD (Adobe Photoshop format) and fonts like TemplateMonster templates does.
