It's not included with the printer, must be purchased separately but the instructions don't give a description or series number or any information. All I know is that the one I use for my digital camera won't fit the printer -- I'd hoped, but I didn't really expect it to....that would be too easy :) TIA

Normal standard A to B cable.

I have this same printer. I went with the USB Device Cable. Just go to the Apple Store and tell they guys your printer model, and they will give the cable to you. Don't worry, the cable is compatible with Macs and PCs.

U can use the regular USB cable that u get in the stores...
or For better scanning quality go for this HP standard Cable

Just a basic A/B USB cable will be fine. A regular usb connection on one side and a squarish connection on the other.
