I have lived 52 years. 7 with one man and 22 with another. I have birthed the babies, cleaned, cooked, laundered, painted, taken care of the yard, stained, varnished, and picked up after them, and worked a full time job. What is man's problem with this. Why can't some men just appreciate a women and not want her to be a slave?

I don't know. I've work outdoors with horses for over a decade. But it seems as if everytime I have that one male working with me who think that I should be sitting down while they handle all the 'tough' work. I have even had them take stuff out of my hands because they didn't think I should be carrying something over ten pounds and tell me I shouldn't be doing such and such because I'm a female. That kind of stuff does not go over well with me and i let them know real fast. If I want your help, I'll ask for it. Don't volunteer where it's not wanted.

I am truly blessed.My husband is a workaholic,never home. I do the same things.Raised 4 children,cleaned,cooked,took out the garbage,cut the grass etc,etc,etc...BUT during those 29 years so far,He has encouraged me to do what I want to do,as far as moving when I got offer for better job in another state.He left a good job to do it.Now the kids are grown,I go to school and still do all the other stuff. BUT my husband kisses me many times a day,leaves me love notes,buys me flowers,holds my hand in public and tells me I'm his beautiful chick every day. For Christmas this year he bought me a journey necklace,when he gave it to me he said::What a great journey so far---I'm looking forward to the rest of it with you...I have the most wonderful husband in the world ( my world anyway )..I have so much to be thankful for..I don't mind doing all I do for US as long as it is worth it in the end...And it is!!!

cuz unfortunatley its been that way since the beginning of time.i believe its all because of that ridiculous double standard.
