My ex-usband owes me around 30000.00$ and the judge has awarded to me but he has not paid a dime on it. I have heard of lawyers that will pay you what you were awarded and then go after the other person to get the money back, does anyone know of a lawyer in arkansas that does this? I am a mother of 4 and really need this money. Anyone that can help i would love to hera from you.

I have never heard of any lawyer in any state that will hand you money owed by someone else and then decide to go after someone else to get it back. If your husband doesn't have the means to pay you, what makes you think he has the means to pay a lawyer anything? I understand your frustration, but your best recourse is to take your case back to a lawyer to enforce or better yet the prosecuting attorney since this was signed by a judge. It may still take a while, but it's the only way I know of that you might ever see any of the money.

If you were married to him then you have his SSN.

Notify your state agency (Welfare office) and let them know of your situation.

This is what will happen, they will put a alert on his Social Security Number and when he finds a legitimate job, then they will start garnighment on his wages. The state will pay you but they will go after him.

Make the call!!!

This is not something that you can do by yourself.

Find a good lawyer and get a collection order. If he has money, you will get it.

If he has no money, and no assets, it can be tough to collect it.

If this is a child support arrears, you can put him in jail if you want.

Your best out would be to get a list of family attorneys and call to find out if any of them can help you out.
