This is a hard question and I am stumped for an answer.
All three do not even belong to a common category.
They all served as military vehicles? Maybe not the Gremlin
Boxy and have a face only a mother can love?inotherwordsugly?
Price?

Ok so I dont give up easily and heres another answer.
What they have in common is staying power for long trips without gassing up every 3 hrs or so.
The hummer and the jeep well, they have to have large fuel tanks to run miles and miles in the desert war. Lets see ,32 gallon tank was the quote on one website. The hummer , despite its size handles with precision and its turning radius is only 26.5 feet. Nice. Most vans turn on 32-36 feet. Lockable differential traction check, central turning for mud and sand. check.
The jeeps tank can be changed into a 19.7 so for a long drive it will pass. Other than that, no common denominator.
The Gremlin is a Hornet with its back end loped off. 96 inches wheel base. That is like turning a small aircraft. Fuel tank again can be modified, not that it originally was the best of its class with longest driving record of any car in the market. Wow I didnt know that before. So I am looking at the Gremlint from now on with more respect. Sorry for the previous insult gremmy

Each were built by AMC, American Motors Corporation, in a way anyway. AMC bought the Jeep Corporation from Kaiser Industries in 1970. At the time Kaiser owned Studebaker and its "General Products Division". In 1971 AMC made the General Products division its own subsidiary and renamed it AM General.
And an added note I would have to say that the Hummer line and Jeep is much better than Ford.

Well the H1 is just a demilitarized HUMVEE, the Gremlin I don't know about, and the Jeep is used to recover Hummers, and other vehicles from mud holes. Plus Jeeps get great gas mileage, don't know who keeps coming up with the bad gas mileage ideas on the jeeps, other than if they bought one with a V8. The inline 6 engines were great on gas, I average 26-28MPG on mine with over 192,000 miles.

If my memory serves me right, the vin plate on the Hummer shows
it to be made by General Motors.
