Why did britney spears shave her buitiful long blond locks off?

britney spears shaved off all of her hair off and i know her and kfed we"re like tottaly in one big fight over the kids and stuff but thats no excuse> so she just goes and cuts off all her hair and gets a pirce down low that is horrible shes crazy that just proves you can go from teen dream to depresded neadrathal ok and why is it all over the tablods i mean i know why but everyone knows she dosn"t want that or dose she she might just want the spotlight back because of anna nicole smith"s death all i got to say is she is crazy and i want to know why she did it was it because she wanted the spotlight back or was it because she was crazy or was it because she is on drugs or is it beacuse of k fed you never know with britney spears i just want to know why

Well her hair wasnt blond at the time, it was brunnette. Her natural hair color wasnt blond either. According to people, she only had about 4 inches of real hair, and the rest was extensions. She was complaining they were really tight. Her hair was also very damage from all the chemical treatments to her hair. People are blowing this out of proportion. she isn't crazy, she was just impulsive. Give her a break, she is going through a rough patch. She is seeking help and hopefully she'll get it. Once she completes treatment, she'll be back on top. People love a comeback story.

Because her own hair was only a few centimeters long and in shocking condition. Her hair extensions have been getting thicker and tighter to hide the fact that her locks were vanishing. That can only go on for so long... think about the recent pap pictures of her with Barbie extensions and wisps of short hair sticking up all around her crown. The real hair was breaking off bit by bit thanks to all the fake crap glued on. My only questions is, why didn't she get brave and do it sooner? Like before all those Las Vegas and Paris/Lindsay Party Nights. Don't despair. This will be the act that saves Britney's hair. The stuff she had before was totally ready for the scrap heap.

britney is not crazy, she is having a melt down but she is in rehab again. She was in rehab before she shaved her hair off but Kevin Fed stole the kids of her mum who was looking after them at the time. She left rehab to go get them. She shaved her head because she says that she was sick of people always touching her and it signaled a new start. She will make a comeback.

well I did hear that brit shaved her head..because kevin f. was worried about her taking drugs and that he was going to use a strand of her hair to find out if she uses drugs.

And there is another that she was supporting someone with cancer.

And the last which I mostly believe is that she is just depressed and tired..maybe in a spur of a moment she just wanted to do something so dramatic to take all the attention off of her...but instead it put more attention on her.

She shaved her hair to avoid a hair drug test from Kevin. Blood and urine can only test it a very small window. Pot can stay in blood and urine for up to 30 days, however cocaine, X ,meth and most pills stay in blood and urine for 72hrs or less and then cant be detected. However hair can go back years and tell exactly when, and how much and for how long. So she shaved it to avaid a drug test from Kevin. Sad but thats wthey say JUST SAY NO!!

i heard that it was because the poperatzi people were wanting something to put in the tabloids so brittney was like here you want something to put in the tabloids.

it also may have been because she was going through a really rough time with her family and friends.i feel sorry for her because everyone is like eww.

she may have done it for the attention with the tatoos and getting her kids taken away(what i heard).

you hear so many things these days they may never finds out a reason why she had done it!

I hope she is getting the medical help she needs. Really.

She dyed it black and freaked out and shaved it off last week.
So that it can 't be tested for drug use, Hair is commonly used to "date" the time line of drug usage.

Sad thing, the stupid girl should have Burned it to destroy it. Its currently on EBay (for real), so it was really a pubilicity stunt now.

as defensive as this sounds, she was depressed and being a starlet, getting tabloid attention (there's no such thing as bad press?) was the only way she knew to deal with it. i don't think it's because she's a freak, or whatever. it's more like, that's how she chose to deal with it. really, if you did it, no one would care. but because BRITNEY SPEARS did it, it's a huge deal.
