cork mentioned education yet didn't specifically define what kind of education you should go after. Fields that carry 100k annual income are everywhere -- but the one that ALWAYS sticks no matter what economic problem a country is having is health care.
You see, with health care (dental, medical, etc.) -- it will always have a need. Our bodies always deteroriate. There will always be more people than health workers. People always go to an end (die), but before they do, they need to have the best quality of life before they go.
A doctor's visit is $200 just to look at a chart. A physical therapy visit is about $400. Add that all up, a doctor's first year or physical therapy's first year could be around $150,000 or more, depending on the area.
