Yes, they sure do. Other nations hold 52% of our national debt and that is steadily climbing every time this twit borrows money. He has borrowed more money than all other presidents combined. We have stepped even further back on protesting China's false manipulation of their currency. We sure as shooting have not pressed the Saudis on their continued support of Al Qaeda, despite their public protestations. They might stay pat if the dollar stays steady, if it starts to tank, they can call in the debt or sell it off to others which could put this country into a tailspin. If they ever call in that debt, this country will be bankrupt.

Great going Georgie

Excuse me...but you need to get correct information. Part of the reason the US is in debt is not just the war on terror. The government paid out billions just for natural disaster victims and insurances. Saudi and China do not have the upper hand. As a matter of fact, the Japanese own more of America than Americans do.

No one has the upper hand.

It's not a bank loan. Essentially they have to wait 10,25, or 50 years to get their money back.

We don't owe them that so they don't have the upper hand over us.

Best thing is to start learning Chinese, as Bush has two more years to make this much worse.
