Depends on the person. I knew a lady that waited 5 years before she remarried after her husband died. There really is no set time. Just whenever you are ready. If you find someone else in a month, to hell with what other people think.

There is not correct or adequate amount of time to greive for anyone that is something that you work on within yourself. In due time all wounds will heal, I will pray for you. Sorry for your loss.

There is no proper length of time for everyone because everyone's grieving period is different.

Twenty-four hours is plenty of time. I'm sure your husband would want you to carry on and live life for both of you.
