Was it any less dumb to announce the surge than to announce a withdrawal, Doesn't that type of information just let the insurgents simply lay low,and wait it out,I mean after all, they live there and without showing a violent side, the people in charge of security wouldn't know a good from a bad guy,They've got nothing but time on their side, and they know it...( we're talking a thousand plus year hatred)

I guess Bush better get his ducks in a row and crush the insurgency once and for all in Iraq.
It is President Jalal Talabani who had a "heart attack" not Prime Minister al-Maliki.

It may be a ploy to avoid the heat over the ineffective operation of the Iraq military venture. Al Sadr will end up on a slab like other radicals but it may take awhile. Hopefully the Congress will not force us into another defeat like Nam.

EDIT: C B, you clueless moron! He already retracted what he said. Next time read everything so you don't make yourself look like an idiot who reads only the question title!
I always truly hate to say this, but that is true that the surge will be insignificant and will fail. It has in the past, and now with the violence worse than ever, it can't work this time either.

Looks like there will be more dead muslims, mostly victims of other muslims who will blame Israel and the USA for muslims murdering each other like they have been doing since muhammad started it all. Anyone who says islam is peaceful has either been fooled or is lying. Wake up and smell the jihad.
But look at the bright side. Islam is dieing, one suicide bomber at a time.

I say that all liberals should take this to heart and get out now, and he has made comments about attacking America directly so libs should really get going fast before he does because he is the only authority on the war on terror and what he says is gospel.

.The term "Surge" was a red herring in the first place.
Now Bush and the neo-pod people can claim that Bush gave it everything he had and so it is now up to Iraq. Neo-pods have perfected the art of shifting the blame onto others for their egregious crimes and failures.

The only thing doomed is terrorism.
You are not living up to your claim that you espouse the TRUTH.
Your question is based on a lie. Please get your facts straight or at least refrain from claiming that you don't lie.
